We return to Boomtown – Chapter 11 – for the festivals biggest line up and event to date.

This is City and Moon’s fourth year and as Boomtown Fair continues to grow and develop in to one of the UK’s most loved annual events with each passing year our scope of work increases.

Providing a full backline package and tech support for numerous stages across this huge site is no easy task, but with months of advancing and pre-preparation we made sure all our artists were taken care of and received their equipment to spec.

The list of equipment we had on site was yet again vast and varied, supplying well over 200 live bands over four days. Lion’s Den, Town Centre, Old Town Square, Hotel Paradiso, The Forge and Lighthouse stages all fell within our remit as well as a selection of mid-level stages. Some of the major acts playing this year included Ms. Lauryn Hill, Prophets of Rage, The Streets and Slaves.

We also set up our own “mini backline warehouse and tour supply” area on site, which proved very useful in covering any short fall or last minute alterations to riders as well as having a handy stock of gaffa tape, batteries, drum and guitar accessories all readily available at a moments notice. All in all 2019 was our best experience yet.
